We're happy to brainstorm with you.

1. Why make a garden plan?

A good garden plan provides overview and structure.
It helps to create a balanced and harmonious outdoor space and to choose which roses are best suited for it.

2. Get started yourself:

Some tips for creating a garden plan:

    Map out the space
Measure the garden and create a simple sketch. Clearly indicate where fixed elements are located, such as paths, terraces, or trees.

    Location and Soil
The right plant choice depends greatly on the location and soil conditions. Consider the following factors:

    - Soil type: Is the soil light or heavy? Is it sandy or clayey? Is it rather dry or wet? If necessary, a soil analysis are carried out using a test kit.
    - Existing vegetation: Which plants grow spontaneously and thrive in the garden? This often provides valuable information about the soil conditions and which other plants will grow well there.
    - Orientation: How much sun/light does the garden receive? Is the garden open or sheltered? Are there areas exposed to strong winds?

    Your Style
Will the choice be for a natural and playful rose garden or rather a classic planting, a romantic cottage style, or sleek modern? Gather inspiration and get started.
With roses, there are so many surprising directions you can take.

    Color
Will you choose ton-sur-ton, where the shades are harmoniously matched, or dare to play with opposite colors for a striking contrast? Use a color wheel and experiment with different combinations to see what best suits your garden.
On our website, easy-to-use filters such as height and color are available, making the search much simpler.

    Layers
Roses come in many sizes, making it easy to work with different visual layers. Think of low shrub roses in the foreground and a lush shrub in the background. Use a pyramid or rose arch to add height.
Standard roses are also very interesting. They bring elegance and romance to the garden. For example, Paul Noël on a 1.40 m stem adds a touch of drama.

    Made a Mistake?
A garden is an adventure, where you decide how adventurous it will be. Notice that your roses are not in the right spot? No worries. Between November and February/March, you can move your roses without any problem.

    Combinations
Roses look beautiful in combination with perennials and grasses.
Some combinations to expand upon for inspiration:
