Eén van de diepst rode, bijna zwarte bloemen. Ze zijn middelgroot, gevuld en geurend. Bloeit de hele zomer door. Vraagt een beschutte warme standplaats.

A deep wine-red, almost black rose. Such dark roses require protection from the hottest afternoon sun so they do not burn too quickly. The flowers are medium-sized, double, and bloom profusely. They have a strong tea scent. The foliage is small, matte, dark green, and red when young. The plant has somewhat sparse growth and is not known for being very healthy. Black spot is a problem, but the flowers do have a unique charm due to their colour and fragrance. It likes a windy spot and fertiliser. Good in a mixed border, at the front of a plant border, or in a pot.
