The double, fragrant flowers begin like a hybrid tea and open into a loose bloom revealing its yellow stamens. This rose, dating from 1933, is a recent addition to the moss rose family. The pink with an apricot undertone is innovative. The overall colour fades. This apricot shade is unique among old roses like moss roses. The flower buds are covered with moss. The plant forms a large, upright shrub with dark green foliage. The flower buds are susceptible to powdery mildew. Nevertheless, this plant is well worth considering for its distinctive colour.
