The semi-double flowers appear in round clusters and are delicately scented. They open flat, a light apricot, fading to cream with golden-yellow stamens that attract bees. The shrub has a bushy growth habit, healthy, semi-glossy foliage, and blooms profusely, even in poor, sandy soil. It forms hips in autumn.
