Soupert et Notting
A short-growing shrub with warm, deep pink, intensely fragrant flowers. They are medium-sized and cup-shaped, sometimes quartered. The branches and flower buds are well-covered with moss. It reflowers lightly in autumn.

An early-season blooming moss rose with medium-sized, double flowers that are initially spherical and open into cup-shaped blooms that are sometimes quartered. The flower buds are heavily mossy. Their colour is a warm, deep pink with paler edges. They have a strong fragrance.
There is a light rebloom in autumn if the faded flowers are cut off after the first bloom.
This low shrub is bushy and has a dens gray-green, dull foliage.
'Soupert & Notting', a name given by Claude Pernet to Jean Soupert (1834-1910) and Pierre Notting (1825-1896), respectively. They were the owners of one of the largest rose nurseries and breeders in Luxembourg, founded in 1855.
