Sunny Sky®

A profusely flowering hybrid tea rose with a modern appearance and elegant charm. The large, cup-shaped double blooms display a soft honey-yellow hue with a slightly deeper-toned center. Their form is classically hybrid tea-like, appearing either singly or in small clusters of 3 to 5 flowers. They exude a fruity fragrance with citrus notes, green apple, peach, and apricot, which becomes especially intense in the evening. The foliage is glossy, medium green, and offers a beautiful contrast to the sunny blossoms.

The shrub grows upright and bushy, reaching 90 to 120 cm in height and about 60 cm in width. Flowering is continuous from June until the first frost. Thanks to its strong disease resistance and winter hardiness down to –20 °C, this is a low-maintenance rose that thrives without chemical treatment. ‘Sunny Sky’ is excellent for borders, as a specimen plant, in combination with perennials, or as a cut flower – its sturdy stems make it particularly suitable for the vase. It also performs very well in large containers.
